The PC3e installation file is only 2.2MB in size; downloading such a lightweight file will only take a moment, even if you’re on a lousy internet connection. On the left hand side of PC3e’s interface, you will find links for three tasks: Auto Cleanup, Optimize System, and Defragmentation. The large pane to the left displays information about your system – operating system, processor load, system uptime, and so on. You see info on your system in this pane because the Info tab is selected. Click the other tabs next to it to view more of PC3e’s functionality.

As mentioned above, PC3e will defragment, clean up, and optimize your system. The nice thing is that you can easily access said functionality. Hit the Auto Cleanup button and PC3e will go to work and remove temp files, cookies, browsing history, and other junk files. Hit the Optimize System button and moments later the application will be done optimizing the system memory for optimum performance. When you hit the Defragmentation button, PC3e does not automatically go to work; you first have to pick a drive, then hit the Defragment Now button.

It is a well known fact that when you delete a file, it is not gone forever – that is why data recovery tools can bring it back to life. PC3e has a File Cleanup feature that ensures deleted files remain deleted. Or to put it in other words, the application has a file wipe feature that ensures deleted files cannot be recovered.
